Oh my goodness, that was pricey!
If you send abroad you should choose the flat rate envelopes. The items you mentioned would have totally fitted in a large envelope and they cost $12.95 or somewhere around there.
There is also an option of a flat rate box that costs aroound $38.
What kind of option did you choose? The PO workers don't always know what's best :(

LMK if you want more info. I live in Sweden and shop from the US and I've learned about shipping costs ;)

Yeah, those overseas fees just kill ya! I don't know if there's a flatrate international package, like we have the flatrate $4.95 envelopes for the US, but if not there should be. Thaks for this chance to win.

I kinda had the same problem. I had a secret santa partner overseas and her package weighed 4 pounds so teh post office said it had to ship priority becasue of teh weighta dn it was 46.00. I was shocked but I had to pay it to get it there. I did like the person it was going to so that made it a bit better. I don't send anymore heavy packages out of the US now.

Oh Yes, I don't blame you with the "light" candy!! Thanks so much fo the chance! I will link you!

You will draw WHEN? (FRIDAY, May 8th or Monday, MAY 11?) I'm just teasing you, but you can retaliate by asking me why it took me all this time to realize that there was no Monday, May 8! I'm 2 fries short of a Happy Meal these days.
