Stampin Up

I am super bored today but I am still recovering from this darn cold. Out of desparation I got out all of those plastic boxes of Stampin Up stamps that I've boughten and never got mounted. Most go back to the days where you had to trim them yourself. YUCK!! I remembered why I didn't buy SU way back when. I decided, however that I had invested in them, so I should get them done. I turned on the TiVo and started trimming and mounting. I got them done and distributed them to the appropriate areas according to theme. I don't keep them in their cases because I never use them when I can't see them. I have to see them when I open that drawer!!!
QUESTION:
Is there anything cool to do with those plastic cases?? I don't need storage so that's out. Any ideas out there????

If surgery wasn't bad enough, now I have a bad cold which of course has gone down into my chest. Thankfully it has stabilized and hasn't gone into pneumonia. One of these days I'm going to be 100% and back to my passion.....stamping!! lol What's that old saying, "when it rains, it pours"!!! Nothing like coughing your toenails up right after surgery!!! Sheesh!!

Don't forget to sign up for The Bow Easy in an earlier post!! I tried it, it's cool.

I am truly blessed!!

I went to the Dr. for my two weeks post-operative appointment yesterday. He took out the rest of the staples (my gosh they are annoying!!). Only a couple areas had a little infection, nothing to be worried about. ALL of the tests had come back and ALL of them were 100% cancer free. I am a truly blessed woman!! Now on to projects.....

In Memory of.......

The day that I had major, emergency surgery, my husband had to put my sweet, beloved dog, Biscut to sleep. I never got to say goodbye so I want to acknowledge her one more time. I had her 13 + years and she was my constant compaion. Completely my dog. She did not have a mean bone in her body. I loved her with all my heart and always will. I miss her dearly.

Where Have I Been?

About a week ago I had two tumors taken out of my abdomen. One was the size of a basketball and the other, a cantaloupe! I was in immense pain before the surgery and am now feeling great. Everything was benign so I'm a lucky person.

I will draw tomorrow and get the package sent out to the winner. Sorry for the delay but UPS doesn't do pick-up in a hospital! lol

Who's the Best??

I just finished a project where I used Perfect Pearls, Shimmerz and Smooches. Here's how I would rate them.

1st Place (by a long mile) SMOOCHES
2nd Place............................Shimmerz
And never again.................Perfect Pearls

The Smooches were soooooo easy to use. I was "coloring" tiny places. Absolutely no comparison with the Perfect Pearls. The Smooches applicator MAKES them easy to apply. Therefore, I rated them over the Shimmerz. I'll take the Smooches anytime!!!!!

BTW, I'm buying the 8 new colors of Smooches. Absolutely love them!!!

Just Wondering

I subscribe to several designer blogs for cards. They make beautiful cards but I always wonder how in the world do they send them? They use big beautiful bows and embellishments that would cost a fortune to mail!! Way to impractical for our little post office. Just ideas I guess.....?? Or to sell something??
