Mr. Bunny Ears

I love this kid's smile!! Does it get any cuter??? I used pretty much conventional things on this layout. The "Mr Bunny Ears" was cut with my Cricut Expressions and then backed with a darker blue. Kind of a reverse lettering. Enjoy!!

Organizing My Nesties

The idea of using a bulletin board is working WONDERFULLY (I stole it from someone???)!!! The only thing I changed was to separate the scalloped from the plain. The ovals and circles were just too much on the same ring. Other than that.....................it works great!!! Try it!!!
PS I bought a new board and am in the process of painting the wood black. This one will be mounted close to where I work so that my Nesties are just a reach away.

Unproductive???

I feel like I haven't been too productive lately but really I have, I just can't post pictures of what I've done. Why??? Because I've scrapped 5 pages for my "boys" and three of them have their names on them.........remember I promised their grandma that I would not display or use their names. Sigh......I can't show them to you!!! I'm pretty much caught up so it's back to cards. Those I can post pictures of!!
Later tater......

Heimlach and the Dachshund

Dachshund's are pigs. There's no getting around it. I know because I have two of them. My old dachshund choked on a chew stick and I had to preform the Heimlach manuever on her several times yesterday. The last time I did it, I did it really hard. She threw up and was alright. Leave it up to a Dachshund to almost die while eating something. Here's a picture of both of them.......white-faced dog is our old dog Biscuit, the other one is our younger dog, Bagel.

Organizing my Nesties

There are lots of ideas out there on how to store your Nestabilities. With space at a premium, I tried something different.
This is an old bulletin board that was hanging on the back of the door (a leftover from one of my kids). I put the Nesties on 2" binder rings and then hung them on jumbo push pines. OMG it works perfect and better yet it's CHEAP!!!
Thought I'd pass this on...
PS: The bulletin board border will be repainted to match my room. I'm way to anal to leave it red. LOL

A PRESENT FOR YOU!!

A PRESENT FOR YOU!

The first five people to comment on this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you.
This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make.
2. What I create will be just for you.* It’ll be done this year. (Homemade stuff can take a little while.)
3. You have no clue what it’s going to be. It may be a story. It may be poetry. I may draw or paint something (that would be a nightmare for me and you lol). I may bake you something and mail it to you (that would be a miracle...I don't cook!! haha). Who knows? Not you, that’s for sure!
4. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange (I doubt it!). The catch? The catch is that you must repost this offer on your post!! In other words, PASS IT ON!! We can all make stuff, can't we?
I got this idea from: Yet Another Card Blog Check it out!!!

Just a scrappin.................

I haven't been making cards lately, I've been trying to get caught up on scrapping for these two boys. They aren't mine, but I was asked by their grandma to scrapbook for her. I really enjoy it. It's rather random and she doesn't really have journaling but it's something she wants to enjoy with her grandbabies. What a sweet gesture on her part (I got her permission to post these but with no names). These two boys are wonderfully photogenic and it has certainly been my pleasure to scrapbook for them!!!
When I scrapbook, I want the pictures to be the focus so I don't use alot of goo-gahs!! LOL I love that word!! I may add something on the left side of the Brothers page.
What do you think??? Comments?? Constructive Criticisms??

Sisterhood of the Blogging Stampers-#27

I just joined, how about you???
Read all about me to the right of this post.

Chalk Hint

This card is completely chalked. I got it all chalked, cut out and everything mounted and then choked on some pop and spit all over it...........sheesh!!

Chalk is always going to give you a softer look to your cards. I usually chalk the picture how I want and then spray in with cheap hairspray. On this card, I wanted more highlights than I could get with the original chalking. So after spraying and drying, I chalked the areas that I wanted darker and sprayed again. I wanted it darker so I did it again.

Hint: You can set your chalk and then chalk over it being sure to spray inbetween chalkings. Works great!!

I had to film this card off to the side. The gold mirror cardstock reflected big time.
